What happens when my Notewise AI & Cloud Plan expires?

Learn what happens to your cloud-stored notes and how the 30-day recovery grace period works when your subscription ends.

Note: We strongly recommend exporting any important notes before your subscription expires to avoid potential data loss.

When your Notewise AI & Cloud subscription expires, you temporarily lose access to your cloud-stored notes inside the app. Your data remains securely stored during a 30-day grace period, and we will send you a reminder email when the subscription ends.

If you renew within the 30-day grace period, your access will be restored and your cloud notes will become available again.

If you do not renew by the end of the 30-day grace period, your cloud-stored notes will be permanently deleted and cannot be recovered.

We want to assure you that your data will remain safe during the 30-day grace period. However, if your subscription is not renewed by the end of this period, your Notewise Cloud account and cloud data will be permanently deleted in accordance with our data retention policy.

This practice also reflects widely recognized data protection principles. Privacy regulations in many jurisdictions require personal data to be retained only for as long as it is reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected. For this reason, we do not retain inactive Notewise Cloud data indefinitely.
