How to view notes in split screen
Learn how to open notes in split screen directly from the app or through your device's recent apps menu on older Android versions.
Important notes for Vivo OriginOS 6 users
OriginOS 6 may automatically launch Notewise in a system-level multi-window mode
This can interfere with Notewise’s built-in split screen feature (e.g. layout issues or unexpected window behavior)
If the layout looks incorrect or you can’t use split view properly, switch Notewise back to full screen: Go to Settings → Display, Brightness & Eye Protection → App Display Layout → Tap Notewise → Select Original Layout
On home page, tap title of the note that you'd like to open in split screen, then tap Open in split view.
On devices older than Android 12L, you should first enable split screen mode by going into your device's recent apps screen, then long hold Notewise to enter split screen mode. Now you may tap Open in split view inside Notewise, as shown in the image below.
Note that not all devices support split screen. If you're not able to find the Open in split view button, the mode might have been disabled by your manufacturer.
